As a truly local insurance company, we believe it is important to give something back to our local community and leave a lasting legacy. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is about how we operate as a business. It’s about embedding responsible and ethical behaviours into our everyday actions. It is everybody's responsibility to manage our impacts in the right way, drive for positive outcomes and run our business responsibly. We do this by managing risks, ensuring effective governance, establishing standards, monitoring our progress, and working with our stakeholders. We do this by considering environmental and ethical considerations through our underwriting. We use our influence to collaborate and share best practice with our suppliers and partners. We give stakeholders the confidence that we protect their privacy and keep their data safe from misuse.
Our Social Impact

Through our Community Support Programme (a mix of education, arts, sport, the environment and charitable causes) we are widely supportive and integrated into the Channel Islands community, being involved in causes that are important to our people, our brokers and our customers.
Supporting Health & Social Care in the Bailiwick since 1991
The annual Insurance Corporation Health & Social Care Bursary is the only awards scheme in the Bailiwick promoting and celebrating health and wellbeing in the Bailiwick. Each year we invite staff from HSC to submit their ideas to improve the health or social care provision in the Bailiwick.
Supporting conservation in the Channel Islands for over 30 years
The intention of our awards has remained the same since its inception in 1990 – we recognise islanders who undertake projects that display their concern for the environment in which we live and also help safeguard the precious green spaces in the islands for future generations.
