Our Environmental Focus
As a company that operates primarily within the Channel Islands, we recognise the importance of looking after conservation, healthcare & the education of all islanders. Much of our ethos over the past 40 years has been centred around supporting people, organisations or initiatives that protect our islands flora and fauna as well as those who wish to improve the health & social care services for our islands.
Taking Care of Our Islands
Established in 1990 our Conservation Awards have provided over £160,000 of donations to islanders who have displayed a concern for our environment. Our annual competition encourages conservation projects, no matter how large or small, and whatever stage in the process across the Channel Islands.
Supporting Community Wellbeing by Enabling Employee Generosity
Over the years the team have donated thousands of hours in helping the environment and local charities. The team get 2 volunteering days each year to support our island's communities. From coastal beach cleans, to planting or tending to woodland areas; to painting and redecorating animal welfare sites our team generously give up their time to provide assistance
Investing in Health & Social Care
Established in 1991 our Healthcare Bursary Awards have provided staff working in Health & Social Care services in the Bailiwick the opportunity to change the lives of many islanders. ‘The Decider’ project developed by two Guernsey Nurses, who won our Bursary in 2010, went on to receive international awards and recognition for their project.
