Apply for the 2024 Health & Social Care Bursary Awards for your chance to win funding for your project
The Insurance Corporation Health & Social Care Bursary Awards were launched in 1991 to encourage staff from HSC to submit their ideas to improve the health or social care provision in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
If you’re working in HSC and have an idea to enhance the health & social care provision in the Bailiwick, don’t miss this opportunity to enter the 2024 Health & Social Care Bursary Awards and have the chance to secure funding for your project.
Entries are encouraged from all projects of any size and you can apply for as many projects as you wish.
How to enter
Step 1
Complete your Entry Form and submit it online
You must be an employee of the States of Guernsey Health & Social Care staff in the Bailiwick
Your project must have Line Manager and Associate Director or Head of Service approval
Each entry should be supported by a video submission
More than one project can be entered
Prize money is intended for community benefit and not for individual reward
Projects submitted in previous years can be re-entered if unsuccessful

Submissions should be uploaded as soon as possible, but no later than 4 October 2024
Schedule
4 October - Closing Date
9 October - Shortlisting
22 October - Judging at Les Cotils. Finalists will be expected to make a short presentation in support of their application which will be filmed
13 November - Presentation of Awards 12pm-2pm at The Farmhouse Hotel
Video Submissions
All entries should be supported by a short video submission.
The videos will be referred to by the judging panel for the purpose of shortlisting entries to 5 finalists. The quality of the submission will not affect your project, but should sum up your vision in a way that is best for you.
Video submissions should include the following:
A description of your project.
How is your project going to contribute towards the health & social care provision in the Bailiwick?
If you were to be successful, how would your prize money be used?
Additional or supporting footage or photography may also be submitted if you wish.
Email your video submission to hscawards@hamiltonbrooke.com. Larger files can be sent via WeTransfer or another preferred platform if needed.
