Zara Scowen

Zara joined the team in 2004 straight from college. Zara has since gone from starting as an assistant underwriter in the then motor team, to our underwriting Technical Lead.

Zara has experience across all non-motor commercial lines of business, as well as household and high net worth. Diploma qualified, Zara particularly enjoys dealing with more complex property risks. 

Zara also likes to get involved with drafting policy wordings and helping to develop our more junior members of the team and providing technical training.

Zara is also passionate about supporting her colleagues and is one of our two trained Mental Health First Aiders.
