Catel De Lecq - 4 Years On

Since 2008, Insurance Corporation has supported the Catel de Lecq (on Jersey's north coast) project in Jersey. A project co-ordinated by States of Jersey Department of the Environment (on Jersey's north coast) and funded through a partnership initiative with the Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands.

The site is small in size but great in historic significance. It incorporates several disused agricultural fields, a Napoleonic Fort and an "earthwork" feature thought to be of Iron Age construction with later additions possibly medieval and certainly some from the Occupation.
