Jersey Conservation Awards 2012

The Jersey Bat Group scooped the top prize of £2.000 for Best Jersey Environmental Project, at this year's Insurance Corporation Conservation Awards. The Awards were held at Societe Jersiaise on 8 August with Les Landes School taking the prize for the Best School Environmental Project.

The Newcomers Award went to the New Eco Wetlands Team (National Trust for Jersey) for their work in Building Wildlife Ponds and the new Pupil Passion Award was awarded to The Jersey College for Girls Preparatory School.
