Tree Planting At Jubilee Wood
A thankfully dry Saturday autumn morning in November on Guernsey's south coast was the setting for the Insurance Corporation's Staff Community Project for 2012.
After a short training session with the tree wardens and with their wellies and spades at the ready, over a dozen staff set to work on helping to plant 300 trees on a newly created woodland area..
'Jubilee Wood', which is assessable from La Gouffre cliff path and open to the public, has been created by the National Trust as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and Insurance Corporation, who funded the project, were delighted to be part of the legacy for future generations to enjoy.
