Performance Manager

We are looking for a dynamic insurance performance manager to join our Management Team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a strong financial background, looking for growth & development, to drive strong portfolio performance by driving our strategy and insight across the business, optimising our pricing and product propositions, which will help grow our business and outperformance.

You will create insights, working closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director to drive decision making. You will own various Board sub-committee’s and feed into the main Board. You will also lead a team of direct reports to drive profitability & governance across our scheme broker distribution channels.

Purpose of the role

Below are some key parts of what you can expect in this role:-

  • Analyse various sources of information to create insights, to help steer both strategic and tactical decisions

  • Develop and implement proposition strategies to help achieve business goals

  • Drive strong portfolio performance, making recommendations for growth and correction to drive consistent profitability and outperformance

  • Take ownership, engage, influence and motivate your direct teams to deliver desired outcomes

  • Maintain strong relationships with our parent company RSA’s Portfolio leads and finance business partners to ensure any new product development, market insight, claim trends or emerging risks are identified early

Skills and experience

Ideally you will be CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified. You will have strong commercial acumen, ability to interpret statistical data and an understanding of the local insurance market. You will have a natural curiosity and desire to drive a business forward. You will have the ability to inspire high performance through excellent stakeholder management skills. You will have confidence in challenging the status quo, leading change and adapting at pace.
