The Allied Air Crew Memorial Dedication Ceremony
We were privileged to attend the Allied Air Crew Memorial Dedication Ceremony today at Guernsey Airport.
It was an incredibly moving dedication ceremony with roses being placed around the memorial to honour those air crew who died in the Bailiwick waters during WWII. As each name was read out a rose was placed by children from Le Rondin and Forest School. We were delighted to also see a fly past!
During the occasion a minute’s silence was also held in memory of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Air Marshall Peter Walker.
It was an honour to provide the public liability insurance for the memorial.
